UPS Plane Pull Presented by BrightSpring, October 1st at UPS Worldport

The UPS Plane Pull presented by BrightSpring for Special Olympics Kentucky is an exciting event to help support 11,000 athletes here in Louisville and across the state. Teams of 20 sign up and raise a minimum of $1,500 to compete. Teams compete to see who can pull a 155,000-pound UPS Boeing 757 cargo plane 12 feet in the fastest.


The Plane Pull Competition Schedule will be distributed via email to all participants (registered online) Wednesday, September 28.

Teams must have met the minimum of $1,500 for early check-in.

Parking and Event Entrance - 911 Grade Lane. 

Reminder: Bring ID - Everyone must go through a scanner. If you cannot take it on a plane (weapons, lighters, etc), you cannot bring it into the event. 

9:00-10:00               Gates and Check In Opens

Reduced Check-in on-site.

10:00                       Opening Ceremonies - Fun Zone Opens

10:30 (approx)         Competition Begins  - Concessions available at 11am

The Competition Schedule will be distributed on Wednesday prior to the Plane Pull. 

Teams are scheduled in 5-minute increments. Please have your entire team onsite 45 minutes prior to your scheduled competition.  Allow for parking and security check.

 Awards are presented at the conclusion of competition. 

Co-Ed Competitive Division includes teams who finish in less that 8 seconds. Co-Ed Fun Division includes teams who finish in 8 seconds or more. ALL CO-ED teams must have a minimum of 8 women.


3:00 Family Fun Zone Closed

ALL spectators, participants, etc will exit the event venue before 4:00pm.
