My family, my friends, my coworkers and I will plunge into frigid water to show our support for over 10,200 Special Olympics athletes in Kentucky. Your donation will not only force me into the icy cold water, but will also help support Special Olympics Kentucky in its efforts to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.  Through sports, Special Olympics athletes like Chris Penny, build confidence and self-esteem, and develop skills they can take off the field and into their everyday lives.  Help us create a world in which all people with intellectual disabilities have a chance to be accepted and respected in their communities.
