I have committed to plunge into frigid water to show my support for the over 8,900 Special Olympics athletes in Kentucky. Your donation will not only force me into the icy cold water but will also help support Special Olympics Kentucky in their efforts to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.  Through sports, Special Olympics athletes build confidence and self-esteem, and develop skills they can take off the field and into their everyday lives.  Help me create a world in which all people with intellectual disabilities have a chance to be accepted and respected in their communities. 

As most of you know SOKY is very near and dear to my heart as my family was Blessed with a Childen with down Syndrome 25 years ago.
Brittany, My older cousin has such a sweet heart and always knows how to make me smile. When Brittany was born they told our family she had "holes" in her heart and had to have surgery & possibly not live past a certain age. Brittany has proved them wrong! She is an amazing Woman with a heart of gold! She goes out and brightens everyone's day no matter what!
