As some of you may know, David and I have a nephew that participates in many of the Special Olympics competitions. We have seen, firsthand, the joy that it has brought to his life. Additionally, my sister, Alicia, is on the Board of Directors for the Special Olympics of KY. Their biggest fundraiser of the year is the Polar Plunge. I am thrilled to share that Drew and I are participating in this year's plunge! Not only will we be taking a chilly dip in a big COLD pool at Texas Roadhouse Middletown on February 22, but we are raising money for children and adults with intellectual disabilities so that they can have the opportunity to experience the joy of sports training and competition.

I HATE asking for donations, but this is one cause that I absolutely have no problem asking; it is truly an amazing organization.
