This will be my third year plunging in memory of my dad, Danny Faulconer! He was involved in Special Olympics for over 30 years and loved everything about it. He first got involved with my cousin Kevin Wayne, who was an athlete, and continued throughout his life. I have committed to get the Chill of a Lifetime when I plunge into frigid water to show my support for the over 13,000 Special Olympics athletes in Kentucky. Your donation will not only force me into the icy cold water but will also help support Special Olympics Kentucky in their efforts to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.  Through sports, Special Olympics athletes build confidence and self-esteem, and develop skills they can take off the field and into their everyday lives.  Help me create a world in which all people with intellectual disabilities have a chance to be accepted and respected in their communities.
