I, along with several co-workers, have committed to plunge into frigid water to show support for the over 10,200 Special Olympics athletes in Kentucky. VisionFirst became so familiar with the Louisville Polar Plunge through a co-worker, Jon Donlon (a/k/a Little Jon), who was tragically killed in a car accident in May 2018. To keep his passion alive for the Special Olympics and to honor Little Jon's memory, I look forward to Jumping for Little Jon on Saturday, February 25th.

I have committed to the Louisville Polar plunge to show my support for over 13,000 athletes with intellectual disablities in Kentucky. 

Through sports, Special Olympics athletes build confidence and self-esteem, and develop skills they can take off the field and into their everyday lives.  Special Olympics athletes are 50% more likely to be employed than people with intellectual disabilities who don't participate in these life-changing programs.
