I have committed to the Louisville Polar plunge to show my support for over 13,000 athletes with intellectual disablities in Kentucky.  I am plunging with my teacher and my Peer Partner, he is a Special Olympics Athlete! 

Through sports, Special Olympics athletes build confidence and self-esteem, and develop skills they can take off the field and into their everyday lives.  Special Olympics athletes are 50% more likely to be employed than people with intellectual disabilities who don't participate in these life-changing programs.
