Auntie Rhonda was one of my best friends and was a great Special Olympic athlete. She derived so much joy from participating and competing and I see that same joy and excitement when I watch our athletes compete. This organization changes lives!
I have committed to the Louisville Polar plunge to show my support for over 13,000 athletes with intellectual disablities in Kentucky.
Through sports, Special Olympics athletes build confidence and self-esteem, and develop skills they can take off the field and into their everyday lives. Special Olympics athletes are 50% more likely to be employed than people with intellectual disabilities who don't participate in these life-changing programs.
Your donation will not only help me reach my goal but will also help SOKY do more for more athletes each year.
