I have committed to the 2023 Louisville Polar Plunge to show my support for over 13,000 athletes with intellectual disablities in Kentucky. In raising my son, who has disabilities, I've met many friends who have benefited from their participation with SOKY.

Through sports, Special Olympics athletes build confidence, self-esteem, and develop skills they take off the field and into their everyday lives.  Special Olympics athletes are 50% more likely to be employed than people with intellectual disabilities who don't participate in these life-changing programs. What a phenomenal organization!
