Lots of people take a dip into Lake Cumberland in the summer but how many people can say they have jumped off a houseboat into the chilly waters in winter supporting a great cause?

Alyssa is ready for the Chill of a Lifetime! As a Special Olympics athlete, she has committed to plunge into frigid water to show her support for the over 13,000 Special Olympics athletes in Kentucky. Your donation will not only force Alyssa into the icy cold water but will also help support Special Olympics Kentucky in their efforts to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.  Through sports, Special Olympics athletes build confidence and self-esteem, and develop skills they can take off the field and into their everyday lives.  Help Alyssa create a world in which all people with intellectual disabilities have a chance to be accepted and respected in their communities.
