Whether you are Brave or Bonkers, we'll take either as long as you are #FreezinforaReason. Are you ready for the Chill of a Lifetime?!
The Louisville Polar Plunge for Special Olympics challenges thousands of brave jumpers to plunge into frigid water in the middle of winter in support over 11,300 individuals with intellectual disabilities who participate in year-round sports and health programming provided by Special Olympics Kentucky.

Can’t plunge, but still want to support Special Olympics Kentucky? No problem. The Personal Polar Plunge allows participation from your own backyard or bathroom! The Personal Polar Plunge option, you sign-up online, raise money for Special Olympics, and then take the Plunge your own way! An ice bath in the tub, a cold dip in a kiddie pool, a spray down with a cold-water hose… or, just sit back and raise money without the chill! If you’re taking the Personal Polar Plunge, we encourage you to share a pic/video of your Plunge via the #ChillofaLifetime hashtag and tag @kypolarplunge. Be sure to post your Personal Polar Plunge pic/video by February 25. Check out this great how-to video!
