Lexington Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Kentucky challenges thousands of brave jumpers to plunge into frigid water in the middle of winter in support over 11,300 individuals with intellectual disabilities who participate in year-round sports and health programming provided by Special Olympics Kentucky.

Can’t plunge, but still want to support Special Olympics Kentucky? Take the Personal Polar Plunge! If you choose the Personal Polar Plunge option, you sign-up online, raise money for Special Olympics Kentucky, and then take the Plunge your own way!
An ice bath in the tub, a cold dip in a kiddie pool, a spray down with a cold-water hose… or, just sit back and raise money without the chill! If you’re taking the Personal Polar Plunge, we encourage you to share a pic/video of your Plunge via the #ChillofaLifetime hashtag and tag @kypolarplunge.
